The Business Council of Fairfield County – Growth Company Advisory Services

The Business Council of Fairfield County (BCFC) has geared up to be an active member of the new statewide Innovation Ecosystem. Growth Company Advisory Services is designed to help smaller firms that need assistance find and access local and statewide service providers, funding sources and other resources. The goal is to provide these resources to emerging growth companies with 9 – 99 employees. High-growth firms in business at least a year are eligible to apply for a number of programs through the BCFC to help fund growth, expand markets, create jobs and become more vital contributors to the Connecticut economy.

This is actually a short form summary of Gary’s October presentation. Gary Breitbart recently joined The Business Council to establish Growth Company Advisory Services, a new offering that focuses on empowering smaller, high growth companies in Fairfield County. Gary will coordinate with the BCFC’s Growth Network and Center for Growth Resources to help entrepreneurs and companies gain access to the most relevant programs from Connecticut Innovations and the Department of Economic Development, as well as other state agencies, higher education and private sector organizations.

You can connect with the program in Fairfield County, CT if your have a start-up wanting to work with the Stamford Innovation Center, or a growth company (typically 10-100 employees and growing rapidly) wanting to work with Gary’s program. You can also participate at all levels as a mentor, investor or service provider.
